To all,

as I read the recent postings on the open site under Q and A, it appeared (to me) that ego's were hurt or harmed in the making of that thread. Regardless of intent, the only thing I saw was more dirty laundry being aired before the enemies of polygraph and the public. I am not innocent and I am certainly guilty of having been caught up in the fray as well.

And, anyone who knows me, knows I like a good fight (or maybe a good argument or two), but we, as a profession, must refrain from attacking each other in any sense or frame that makes it appear we are fighting in public or dissagreeing on issues.

A reminder, the public forum is for NON-polygraph people (i.e. the public) to inquire of our profession. I hope this was polite enough.

"Can't we all just get along..."

Jim

I'd suggest deleting the debate that is of no use to the general public as it is just that, not useful, and it is not helpful to us either for the reasons you stated.

I think the issue will die down now. I shouldn't have stirred the pot.

I think deleting the thread gives them more ammo. I am sure they read it already and will claim we dropped it because it makes Polygraph look bad or some such nonsense.

I do agree that those types of debates should be restricted to this area. I will be more careful in the future to avoid starting discussions in the open forum that can be used as fodder for the anti's.

Jack

I just read the update, and I think you fixed it as best as can be.

Sackett -

My apologies to all for the information I released in the "public forum." In the future I will ensure I restrict comments/issues of this type to the "Examiners ONLY" forum.

END.....

There is nothing better for examiners to question each other and to challenge each other in an area that is always getting better and is always changing. There is nothing worse than to do it in a public forum. I am guilty as charged and I want to say to poly761 your opinion is important to me. It helps both of us do a better job.

GROUP HUG !!!!!!!!!!!

PS: Sackett, you are right, you are the ultimate keeper of the pot!

Thanx Ted,

wanna "hit", or just have me stir it up a bit?
